E1E Pyrolytic Graphite Electrodes
TEMPERATURE RANGE: 10°C – 25°C — Electrode damage may occur at temperatures outside this recommended range.
These E1E Series pyrolytic graphite electrodes are available in both the “edge plane” and “basal plane” orientations. The disk material (encapsulated with a small layer of epoxy) is mounted inside of a PTFE shroud located at the end of a stainless steel shaft. The PTFE shroud is quite chemically resistant, but the epoxy material is compatible only with aqueous electrolyte solutions. The electrode is polished to a mirror finish, serialized, and then factory tested (test results are shipped with each electrode). The standard banana jack on the end of the electrode is compatible with most potentiostat cell cable designs.
- Pyrolytic Graphite Disk OD: ~3.8 mm
- Encapsulating Epoxy OD: 5.0 mm
- PTFE Shroud OD: 12.0 mm
- Overall Length: 152 mm
- Standard Banana Connector
- Mounting Adapter for 14/20 Port (included)
- Compatible with many Pine Standard Volume Cells
