The LowProfile PTFE Body Platinum Counter Electrode is designed for use with Pine Research’s Low Volume Cells.  The electrode features a 0.5 mm OD Pt wire shrouded in PTFE, sealed in a PTFE tube, and a gold-plated pin for easy connection to a potentiostat.  The electrode shroud is 7.0 mm OD x 65 mm long.  Electrical connection is made via a 1.0 mm OD gold-plated pin at the top end of the electrode.  This pin can accept an alligator clip or a small cable with an appropriately sized “pin and socket” connector.

  • Pt wire OD = 0.5 mm; approximate surface area = 0.58 cm2
