These disk inserts are designed for use with our ChangeDisk RDE and RRDE tips.  Our most popular insert materials include glassy carbon, platinum, and gold.  Here, we offer carbon steel (such as 1018) and stainless steel (such as 304, 316, and 430) disk inserts.  If you require a disk insert from another material or with custom dimensions, please contact us directly for more information.  Standard disk inserts have a 5.0 mm OD and are 4.0 mm thick; however, other dimensions are also available (click here to see our Disk Insert Mechanical Drawing).

These disk inserts are designed for use with our ChangeDisk RDE and RRDE tips.  Our most popular insert materials include glassy carbon, platinum, and gold.  We routinely make custom disk inserts using a wide range of materials.  If you require a disk insert from another material or with custom dimensions, please contact us directly for more information.  Standard disk inserts have a 5.0 mm OD and are 4.0 mm thick, however other dimensions are also available (click here to see our Disk Insert Mechanical Drawing).

If you own an E4 Series RDE tip purchased before 2006, you must choose one of the special "thin disk inserts" from the pricing table.  If you purchased your E4 Series RDE tip after 2005, then you may use any of the standard 5.0 mm OD x 4.0 mm thick disk inserts in the pricing table.
